Every mentor is reviewed before approval. Nobody is matched with a young person on the basis of an application alone — our team reviews each one individually, a process that may include a background check.
Pairings are made by our team, not chosen by mentors or mentees. There is no self-service matching anywhere in the platform — a mentor can never assign themselves to a young person.
Your child can always ask for help. A private "Ask for Help" and "Prayer & Support" channel lets them reach out at any time, and every request is reviewed by our team.
Parents and guardians may be involved in their child's mentorship journey, particularly for mentees under 18 — this is part of what your child agrees to when they enroll.
Your child (or you, on their behalf) signs up and shares a bit about themselves — their strengths, what matters to them, and what they're hoping to grow in.
Once a reviewed, approved mentor is available, our team pairs them with your child — never automatically, never self-selected.
Your child sets goals, checks in regularly, and reflects in a private journal, with support from their mentor along the way.
Mentors log a summary of each session your child can see, so growth is visible — not just a private conversation you never hear about.
Adults who apply through our mentor application, share their motivation for mentoring, and go through a safeguarding review before they're ever approved to be matched with a young person.
Our team makes every pairing directly — your child doesn't browse or choose a mentor, and a mentor can't select a mentee. It's a deliberate, one-to-one match made on your child's behalf.
